From time to time it is necessary to move a boat from one base to another. Check this page regularly if you are interested in doing this for us.

An opportunity has arisen to move a boat from our Napton base at Wigrams Turn Marina, situated at the top of the South Oxford Canal in Warwickshire to our Stoke Prior base in Worcestershire. The boat is a Duchess 8 (70ft long) and therefore only people with plenty of narrowboating experience would be considered. The move would take about a week and would take place end of December/early January. If you are interested please call the office and ask for John Lucas.

Droitwich Canal Now Open!!

The Droitwich Canal link from Worcs/Birmingham canal to the River Severn is now open.

This pretty route, 1 of just 2 short-break rings in the country, is easily reached from our Stoke Prior base.

The Hanbury Locks (1 to 3) are being manned by BW staff between 10.00am and 3.30pm (latest arrival 2.30pm) and passage through is only allowed between these times. Please do not arrive at these locks outside of this period as mooring is very limited.
