Based at Acton Bridge near Northwich, the Black Prince canal base at Acton Bridge is a great place for exploring a number of routes in the beautiful region of Cheshire.
There’s a choice of easy short cruises for beginners, including the lock-free route along the Bridgewater Canal to Manchester. Alternatively head south along the Trent and Mersey Canal. Both routes enjoy lovely countryside scenery, perfect for a relaxing holiday.
For the more adventurous boaters, continue on to the Leeds-Liverpool Canal or head to the Cheshire Ring via the Peak Forest and Macclesfield and the Four Counties Ring via Middlewich.
